Our project and our non-profit company, Ca.Stella & Camping Monte San Giorgio, were built by respecting the environment around us and by promoting a sustainable management. We use zero-km-products, that come from Ca.Stella FARM and local producers. Wherever possible, we use non-polluting products and renewable energy for the heating.  The green colour of the Monte San Giorgio UNESCO Park prevails in our two facilities, not only because of the natural surroundings, but also in terms of sustainability and reduced environmental impact. Thanks to our deep connection with the territory we are committed to concretely contributing to the protection of the planet. We want to promote a new way of understanding the concept of hospitality, by offering our guests the possibility of an eco-friendly stay in the Sottoceneri region and a nature-friendly hospitality. Our own facility stands for these values. Indeed, we have integrated the concept of environmental sustainability in the architecture of Ca.Stella Farm, the Monte San Giorgio and our restaurant Ca.Stella-Cucina Naturale. Our social company supports the Swisstainable and Municipality Zero Waste programme promoted by the town of Mendrisio.
